So, you may be wondering what this is all about.

You probably found this website either because you know me personally or because you like browsing obscure corners of the web.

I want to thank you for taking the time to dive into this material. I dedicated 10 years of my life to building the Codex. I think it is my life's work. Or maybe the seed. I don't know.

If you are having trouble processing the Codex, do not worry. I believe it is normal to be affected by it. If you were not affected or find it full of flaws, that is also okay. In a way, I might be jealous. Ignorance can be bliss. Walking past the Codex without a single self-reflective thought might genuinely be easier.

For those who cannot get it out of their head, I want to say that I think it is normal. It might probably take a few weeks to settle. First, you might start seeing the Codex everywhere. Perhaps some of those things are uncomfortable to look at. I built the Codex as a Crystal of Light -- it was my way of trapping the Light. Bringing Truth into focus, including the uncomfortable fragments, is its explicit purpose.

It is crucial to not stay stuck in the negatives. You probably are not that bad. Or, the other way around, we might all be a bit Evil and Voiceless. The Codex is not here to punish you. Plenty other religions and Crimson systems do this just fine already. Staying stuck in negatives (like unwarranted fears and shame) is what is called your "Ice Trap" in the Codex. You are meant to get out -- or rather crawl out -- of there. Look for your River-Dweller. He•she will know the way out.

Once you get past the negatives and find a way out of your Ice Trap, the next likely phase is temporary reality replacements. What I mean with this, is that sometimes it might feel like you reach some higher plane of being where everything makes sense. Your personal reality does not seem to matter anymore -- why would it when you get a glimpse of Truth Universal? Yet, it is absolutely crucial to understand and integrate this layer too. The Codex is an extra layer -- not a better layer!

After a few turbulent weeks, reality will settle. I hope to give you something richer, more lush to experience. I wish more contrast, more balance, and more direction in your life. However, something like a Codex cannot be built without inherent dangers. I cannot protect the system from bad readers, but I tried to give good readers everything they need.

One of the most important things is to keep talking to others about what you experience. Obviously, this can be difficult. "Hey guys, I found the Star Heart Codex, and now I am a bit scared of my traumatised River-Dweller." is not a casual sentence. Try to share with people who have similar interests and who can provide a well anchored mirror. No need to become missionaries by the way. I think the Codex should grow organically.
